Families who qualify for Open Doors assistance may come in once a month for their primary food distribution. They may also come in 4 additional times to shop the foods on our reception area racks. These include fresh produce, deli items, and a variety of packaged foods. Our clothing pantry is also open to our client families during all shopping trips.
The Open Doors Pantry receives food donations from the Midwest Food Bank, individuals, local churches, Boy Scouts, post office and school food drives. Cleaning supplies and personal hygiene products are also provided, since these items cannot be bought with food stamps, SNAP or other government assistance. We also purchase food with monetary donations. Monetary donations can be made through the Open Doors website, or by check sent to: Open Doors of Washington Township, PO Box 196, Westfield, IN 46074
